Raindrops Under the Bulb

Drop. While I wait, sheltered under the spherical cover of a bus station. I‘m waiting. Like every man is waiting for something. Love, money, passion, achievement. I’m just waiting for transport. I wait for the bus, rushed to meet me halfways. And so out of the direction it would happily arrive, splat! A sign from above. One picture in motion, million escapades.

It rains, so I see raindrops in focus just below one bulb, which bends over to the moderately busy street. Just like my hump towards the phone, on which I write this. More precisely to the funny and helpful application with sticky notes painted in yellow. Like my room in the chaos of useful information.

Overlooked by a silhouette towards which, as I turn, it seems like it disappears. “Am I crazy?” — Is not a thought that pierces through my head. Because I’m with an open mind towards every inexplicable miracle. It moves me - the need to realize something new, unexplored. In fact, we don’t know anything. Almost all are assumptions. Everything that is out of our mental range of understanding doesn’t mean that It’s insane nor unexplainable. It may be so, just apparently and only for now.

On my headphones goes rap music, and by the way, I think that I have the “Deathnote” guardian on my right shoulder. Whose name should I write in the notebook so it would disappear from my background in this game called Life? In fact, who am I to decide on that? Even the biggest villains inspire a positive change.

Be changed. Drive the change.

Raindrops Under the Bulb is part of my first book “Stories of a Sailor”- a compilation of short stories with existentialistic motives, unpublished so far.
